This drill bit is perfect for making deep kanals so that the mycelium can penetrate the logs faster. The 6 x 400 mm drill is used with logs with a diameter larger than 25 cm.
First drill a 40 mm deep chamber with the 18 mm drill, then go 10-37 cm deep and make a thin kanal using the 6 mm drill.
Fill the chamber with rapid mycelium and seal with wax For logs with a diameter less than 25 cm use our shorter drillbit.
Use a mycelium injector to fill the chamber with mycelium and seal it with wax.

At hot temperatures in the summer that exceed 25 degrees, we wait to send products containing mycelium until the temperature has dropped. This is to protect mycelium, which is sensitive at too high temperatures.
