Lion’s Mane, also known as Hedgehog Mushroom, Bear’s Tooth, Pom Pom Blanc, and by many other names, is beloved worldwide for its delicate flavor and impressive appearance. Hericium erinaceus is a fascinating mushroom to grow.
The growing block comes ready for fruiting. Simply cut a 5x5 cm cross in the plastic, spray the opening with water several times a day, and watch the mushrooms grow.
For optimal conditions, we recommend keeping the growing block in a humid environment with good airflow. For example, a larger plastic box with a few holes drilled in the sides and a matching lid. Fungal mycelium is resistant but cannot withstand high temperatures. If the climate exceeds 25, we wait for cooler temperatures before sending the packages in order for your products to arrive to you in the best possible condition.
