Self-healing injection ports for liquid cultures and for inoculation with liquid mycelium when making grainspawn. The ports are mounted on the lids of your cans and jars for easy and safe inoculations. Insert the needle through the injection port to draw up or inject the liquid culture without risk of contamination. The port closes effectively when you pull out the needle. The product is sold in 10-pack. Note that the injection ports must be sterilized before use.
Also mount air filters on your lids to equalize pressure when you pull up / inject liquid cultures. Air filters and heat-resistant silicone for mounting are sold separately.

At hot temperatures in the summer that exceed 25 degrees, we wait to send products containing mycelium until the temperature has dropped. This is to protect mycelium, which is sensitive at too high temperatures.
